11 Months!

We can hardly believe Noah is 11 Months old. Time just goes by way to fast! But what fun we are having with him. He is getting into everything these days.
Still loves the bathroom(YUCK!), our bedroom, dishwasher, garbage cans, computer cords, laundry room, Emma's tail! You name it he is exploring it in some way or another. So he keeps us on the go all day long, but I wouldn't want it any other way. He now has a fast mode crawl when he sees an "oppurtunity". Gets into a standing position on anything that allows him to. Let's see..... what else is new? Has his two bottom teeth and working on more. He had his first boat ride this past week and did not like his life jacket, so that boat ride didn't last long. The other thing he is doing now is when he really wants me to pick him up he pulls at my pants or crawls up my leg and says, "ma ma ma" and he also has been saying "da da". We Love that!

10 Months and then some!

Noah turned 10 months on the 14Th of May and has gotten quite the personality! He learned to crawl Mother's Day weekend and is now a free roaming little boy. Loves the bathroom, Mommy and Daddy's bedroom, pantry, and gate on the stairs. Who needs toys when you can just explore! He also has cut one tooth and the next is just about through.
He also loves Emma (the dog). We keep Emma confined to the entry way and Noah will go to the gate and see Emma at the bottom of the stairs and scream and scream and scream. It is so loud I have to plug my ears! He also screams for no apparent reason, I think he just likes to hear himself. What a character he is! He is loving his freedom and is now a pretty happy camper!

Here he is peeking down at Emma.

Happy Birthday Cory!

Cory's Birthday is actually tomorrow but we got invited to my Grandparents for a fish fry and we celebrated early.
Notice Noah's shirt, it says"My Dad is the Man"!

I made Cory a fruit pizza. His Favorite Dessert!

Cory's Favorite Leisure Activity!
He wouldn't let me put Noah in his crib. He said "Just a little longer".
So Happy Birthday Cory, we love you! You are the Man!!!!!!

Baby Torunn!

This is our newest niece "Torunn Rose Marie Reinertson"! She was born May 14Th and weighed in at 6pds 10oz, 20" long. This would be Cory's brother Marty & his wife Jeanette's daughter. Isn't she sweet! We were able to go meet her yesterday but wouldn't you know, my camera battery was dead. So we did not get any pictures of her, but I was able to get this one off of the Hospital's website.

Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all you Blog reading Moms! We had a fun filled day, we were able to spend time with Cory's Mom and Dad today. We had a lazy morning at home and I was able to sneak away for a few minutes and drink my coffee outside in my lawn chair! We went to church and then to the Bigwood Event Center for a Mother's Day Brunch/Lunch. It was really good and we were able to take our time and enjoy it. Noah was so good and was loving the variety of food we gave him. We also were able to go see my Mom later this evening and spend sometime outside at the lake. Noah loved the swing and we finally got him in the grass and it didn't seem to bother him at all! Can you see the dirt on his feet?
The plate my Mom is holding is something I have been waiting to give her for months! My dad had gotten this plate for my Mom on her 1st Mother's Day in 1977. ( It says Mother's Day 1977) This past winter my Mom was dusting and the plate fell and shattered. She was devastated because this plate always meant so much to her. So I got to thinking that just maybe I could find one on EBay. So sure enough I found it and I placed my bid and won! With shipping I ended up paying less then my Dad did 30 years ago. My Mom was very excited!

Sleeping Feet

This might be hard to see but I wanted to share it anyway. This has become the way that Noah likes to sleep. His foot or feet and sometimes even a hand are found resting in between the rails of his crib. We first thought he was just stuck but we moved it and later found it right back out again. Silly guy!

Chahinkapa Zoo!

Were off to the Zoo! We took
off for the zoo on Tuesday with
my friend Kim and her son Cohen.

Checking each other out.

This miniature horse was eating
Cohen's crackers right off his tray!

Noah was not so sure about
being so close to this animal.

Playing in the sand or eating the sand?
We had a fun day on our first trip to the zoo!

My Dad's other sister, Lisa was home as well but we didn't get to see her this trip.

Here is Grandma Bev with Noah.

Noah is doing his "Elvis" impersonation!

9 Months Old!

Look at this happy kid! Notice I am smiling too, we have turned a page into a new chapter! Contentment.....
Noah turned 9 months old on April 14Th. He has changed so much these past few weeks. He is actually starting to be more content. I can be in the kitchen and he will be playing in the living room with his toys and he is happy. He has been so much fun! He is almost crawling, he is a pro at the backwards scoot. He will get on his hands and knees and attempt to move his hand and leg but then ends up in a nose dive. We had his evaluation in Fargo at Merit Care this month and the Dr's were impressed with his progress. He scored in the 90's with his cognitive and small motor abilities. (I think that is what they called it?) Way to go Noah, we knew that large head was filled with lots of brain power! (He scores in the 98Th percentile for his head measurements!) The following pictures are of his first campfire at the lake, notice the calm lake behind Cory and my Dad. The others are of Noah riding in his first set of wheels, he knew exactly where those hands go. The last are of swinging in the park!

Visiting Great Grandma Mary!

My Grandma Mary had double knee surgery today, so we went to visit her tonight. She looked great and she said she was feeling pretty good. Things went very smoothly today and Grandma was in good spirits tonight!

Noah with Grandpa Virgil. Noah was full of smiles!
Please keep my Grandma in your prayers these next few weeks as she recovers.
