Lake Day!

It was a perfect day for the lake. Noah enjoyed being in the water, finally. This was our first time in the water all summer. Between weather and the chigger's we had been holding off.
It was beautiful and calm. We brought J and Mareyn with us and Keisha and the kids came out later in the day. We were in the water from 3:30pm to about 8:00pm with a supper break of course.







It was so nice in the water we decided to have our ice cream break in the lake!

Birthday Party!

Noah's Birthday party was a lot of fun. We barbecued hamburgers and had a burger bar with all the toppings. It was a hot day and nice to be outside since we have no air. Noah seemed to enjoy his day. In the morning when I went to get him out of his crib I sang to him, he got a huge smile on his face like he just knew today was his day! We celebrated all day long. It was fun watching him open his gifts, he really was into it this year. You will have to take a good look at his cake. I had good intentions of making this wonderful layered cake, but given the weather was warm and there was a slippery mousse in the middle...well it just didn't stay where it was supposed to. Maddie was there helping and she made the suggestion of shoving it back in the pan and that is what I did. I was not about to start over and waste 2 cake mixes, 2 jars of frosting and the yummy creamy center. It tasted great and that is the most important part, right?

We had a birthday party for Noah and Amelia when G&G R. were here over the 4Th. Noah got this great sand and water play table. He loves it!
