South Padre Island

We spent Friday in South Padre!
Noah was dressed in his festive

We ate at a place called Amberjacks
and we had shrimp and swordfish.

We stepped in the ocean but
it was very cold and windy.

Noah stayed inside because of
the wind and sand blowing.
But he caught an alligator to play with!

A day in Mexico!

We spent a day in Progreso Mexico, shopping, eating & taking in the sights. Crazy how different if it just by crossing over the border. I would take those little ones running around begging for money home if I could! Cory shopped for sunglasses and I bought nothing, can you believe it?!


Grandma and Grandpa have been spoiling Noah and us! We are enjoying our time down here but haven't seen much sun. Could be worse, we could be stuck in the Minnesota cold! Everyone down here thinks it is cold and wearing their winter clothes but Cory is in his shorts and t-shirts.

Our First Family Vacation!

down visiting my Grandparents.

We are spending a week in Texas with my grandparents. We plan to go into Mexico today or tomorrow and to South Padre Island on Friday. Raining this morning but Thursday and Friday are suppose to be in the mid 70s. I will take the rain and cooler Texas weather over the Minnesota cold any day!

"Bodin Stelar Komestakes"

Bodin was born this afternoon, weighing
in at 8 lbs 3 oz and 20" Long, I think!
Mommy and Baby are doing great!

Noah looks huge now! Bodin has very
big hands though and they looked
bigger then Noah's.

Bodin and Noah are now 6 months and 2 days
apart! So it will be fun to see them grow up together!

6 Months Old Today!

a big boy already. Seems like he does
something new almost every day.

Were Back!

So I finally got things working again. I posted some pics from Noah's 1st Christmas. These are just some recent pictures of Noah. He is getting to be such a big boy! He is teething and not feeling to good right now. He loves to be sitting up but only can with assistance. So the Bumbo chair works great for him right now! (Thanks Amelia for sharing your Bumbo with Noah!)

Christmas in South Dakota!

We traveled to South Dakota to celebrate Christmas
with Cory's side! Santa Claus came and surprised us all by his visit! Amelia wouldn't go near
him but Noah didn't know any better yet. Cory opened gifts for Noah and he got a tonka truck
and an old fashioned radio flyer scooter bike from G&G. Grandpa Lyle fixed it all up for Noah!

Christmas at the Lake!

We had Christmas on Saturday the 23rd with my family out at my Parents. It was a really nice day so we played outside some. Notice Mareyn's plate, she couldn't decide on which roll to have so she sampled them all!

Noah had some really nice gifts! Maddie had Noah's name and Noah had Maddie! G & G gave Noah the Walk and Rider!

Noah's First Taste of Food!

Noah is now 5 months old so we thought he
should have a taste of some table food.
So on Sunday we gave him very soupy rice cereal.
He seemed to like it but got tired of it real fast.

We had our 3rd annual sleepover at my Grandparents on Wall Lake! We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. We did a White Elephant gift exchange and had some pretty crazy exchanges! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for the use of your house.

Zachary Vesta's Baptism!

Jim and Cari asked us to be Zachary's Sponsers so on December 10th we had Baptism at Oak Hill LBC.
We had a fun weekend and it was fun to have the boys together. Zachary was Born on November 17th and it will not be long before he catches up to Noah!

How Noah Got his Name!

We spent the first weekend in December with the Schuhmacher's.
This is the family I was a Nanny for when we lived in Shakopee. Cory and I both became very close to the Schuhmacher Family! They have two boys I cared for, Adam & Noah. So before our Noah was born we asked them if we could take the names of their boys and name our son! So we decided on Noah Adam! (we already have a nephew named Adam so we went with Noah for the first name)
Cory planned the weekend with Paul & Sue and surprised me! We had such a great time and it was so fun to have them finally meet Noah. We were able to take in one of Adam's hockey games while we were there. So Noah got to take in his first hockey event. Thank you Paul & Sue for such a great weekend!
